Mrs. Northcutt joined Biggs & Greenslade, P.C. in 2022 after a successful career as an Assistant District Attorney. Mrs. Northcutt graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Business and dual minors in Economics and Agronomy. Following her undergraduate degree, she graduated cum laude from Texas Tech School of Law in 2016. After law school, Mrs. Northcutt moved to East Texas and began her career as an Assistant District Attorney in Anderson and Rusk Counties. Mrs. Northcutt gained invaluable experiences handling both criminal and civil matters in all stages of litigation and trial.

As a former trial prosecutor, Mrs. Northcutt has managed hundreds of criminal cases ranging from traffic tickets to murder cases participating in all stages of litigation up to and including jury trials. During her career as a prosecutor, she achieved the position of chief prosecutor in the County Court At Law of Rusk County and lead attorney in all Child Protective Services cases.

Mrs. Northcutt will handle a variety of legal matters for Biggs & Greenslade, P.C. including personal injury and criminal defense. Mrs. Northcutt currently lives with her husband and two sons in Troup, Texas where she helps manage the family farm.

    • Chief Misdemeanor Attorney for Rusk County Court at Law, lead attorney on multiple felony and misdemeanor trials, draft and argue criminal motions in all cases, research and write appellate briefs, handled all matters relating to Department of Family and Protection Services cases. Review and handle intake misdemeanor cases. Review and present felony cases to Grand Jury.

    • Review and file intake misdemeanor cases, first chair in multiple misdemeanor trials, second chair in multiple felony trials, oral arguments on motions filed, drafted and filed appellate briefs, handled all matters regarding bond forfeiture and asset seizure.
